Wen Qing, still not understanding anything, looked around and realized that besides her and her uncle there was no one else.
She didn't know if she should be grateful for it or terrified.
"Wen Qing", her uncle called. "What I'm about to tell you will sound like crazy but you have to believe me".
Wen Qing, having no wish to die in the near future, nodded.
Even if her uncle told her that the sky would fall today she would be the first to nod and yell at anyone who said otherwise.
However, it was difficult to control her facial expression when her uncle smiled happily and said her:
"Congratulations. Wen Ruohan is dead".

Lan Wangji being an Intersex, changes some canonical events. Wei Wuxian realizes his feelings for Lan Zhan before his death, but nothing changes much except him being jealous. WangXian had sex at the age of 17 in Xuanwu of Slaughter cave, resulting A-Yuan being their biological child. And Jin Ling might not hate Wei Wuxian outrageously and also have a good control over his temper. A-Yuan and A-Ling grew up as cousins and they both are protective of Lan Wangji.

"You mean... your ancestors?" He tries, even if it is a very dumb thing to ask, since he already knows who he is talking about. A-Yuan, always a kind boy, nods, not moving anything else but his hands, fidgeting with them as if it's going to help to calm his rattled heart.
"Well, A-Yuan. I didn't knew them for years as I knew the Jiangs, and we didn't get to know each other deeply because of... the circustamces that surrounded us at the moment. Jin Guangyao attends a banquet of the Lanling Jin Clan. He returns to his quarters after the banquet and drinks a cup of tea to moisten the taste of liquor. Oddly, he goes unconscious right after. Nie Huaisang follows him and witnesses something odd. He witnesses Jin Guangyao lose his cultivation in his bedroom. Nie Huaisang is stunned but he locks and wards the room before undressing his “San-ge” to his inner robe and lays him on the bed. Nie Huaisang also removes his own clothing and lays on top of him. While Jin Guangyao is still unconscious, Nie Huaisang explores his San-ge's body. When he reaches between Jin Guangyao’s legs, he finds out that Jin Guangyao, who was originally very much a man, has mysteriously become intersex.
