Gorilla on maternity leave, Nathalie weak and sick and her father with plummeting sales that threaten to bring down the Agreste business, how Adrien will cope with the onslaughts of Chat Noir ? It's easy for Ladybug and Chat Noir to hide their identities. The kwamis take any memories not relevant to battle, and a civilian identity definitely isn't relevant. -

Summary
It has been five years since the defeat of Monarch, and the death of Gabriel Agreste. Paris has been at peace for the last five years despite the fact it had lost one of its main protectors. Marinette in her final year of college, finds her world turned upside down at the return of her childhood sweetheart from London, and the return of the black cat miraculous holder all at once.
Adrien has been living in London with his aunt and cousin for the past five years after the death of his father, in an attempt to stop running from his past, he has found his way back to Paris, and finds things not exactly as he's left it.
Both Ladybug and Chat Noir must learn how to work together once more after a new villain is made known to Paris and its peace is suddenly disrupted and everything they had wished for is on the line. But a lot can change in five years and they both learn its not as easy to return to the way things once were as they thought it would be and with a more ruthless villain than Monarch on their backs, and even more at stake, they don't have room for mistakes.
