Feanor has left the Halls of Mandos and walks in the Undying Lands again. Everyone knows what this means: he will soon break the Silmarils and the world will end.
But first, he must "get ready for it", whatever this exactly means. When will he be ready? Nobody knows, not even Finrod. Not even Namo. Everybody's waiting and speculating: some with hope, some with terror, and many with a mix of both. And the final day grows closer.
The Advent Calendar fic for 2025 (ie a chapter will be published each day Nov 30th to Dec24th.) Vaguely inspired by my previous year's Advent fic series.
Loose chapter structure (you may skip some without much loss if you want to). A mix of emotions: some cozy, some angst, some humor, some grief. The emotions gets more intense near the end. Many PoVs. The characters I tagged have repeated PoVs, but so do Maglor and Curufin. Many others have a single scene: mostly Elves, but also some of the Ainur.

Its not every day that you see a sentient quirk like his, its just as rare as elemental ones, but he knows that his quirk could be seen as a nightmare to some. I mean come on, who wants their entire emotions out on display every second of the day without an off switch? He got by in the crime world because he learned to be sly, quick, and careful. keeping the nature of his quirk hidden. Only taking jobs he knew would have a decent payout and wouldn't risk too much, sometimes even taking more than one to sweeten the deal.
But now... after the Humarise incident, he's playing it straight, working a real job and trying to become a pilot while making sure his siblings still have food on the table, are doing their schoolwork, and dealing with new quirks that might sprout up with his helping hand.
He didn't think he'd get the chance to visit Japan and see Izuku again.
or that something in his quirk... was changing.

And on the couch across the room in his direct line of sight was the oversized pink cockroach he was going to fucking step on as soon as the call ended. And he was kissing Sae like his life depended on it.
Shidou and Sae hook up on the couch in the office while Rin's in a virtual meeting on account of Sae’s Rin-specific exhibitionism.
