Summary
The dead are no longer staying dead.

The Storyteller program was only active for a year. They got rid of it when all it seemed to do was throw up security errors. They didn’t realize that it worked.
Perhaps a little too well.
The program itself may be gone, but the network behind it isn’t. There isn’t a single thing that happened in the Pizzaplex that isn’t recorded there—concerningly, there are even things that happened nowhere near it. What is it collecting this information for? Is there someone controlling it? How do we stop it?

Maybe it was her lack of response that prompted it, or maybe the soul-deep exhaustion was simply catching up with Monika again, but she tipped sideways, head falling into Molly's lap as she curled in on herself. “I'm sorry,” she choked out again, the tears erupting from her eyes as if they'd never truly stopped. They flowed over the crook of her nose, dripped down her cheek and into the duvet cover across Molly's thighs, darkening the fabric with salt.
