The crew thought it would be easy, but after meeting a little orphaned fox cub, they begin to discover that caring for others is perhaps more complicated than it seems at first glance. But they won't give up, because, isn't it children like this the reason of why they want to build a better world?
The little boy doesn't know what's going on, he doesn't even understand why these people fight so much, but they are his family now, and protecting them has become his top priority, and he won't let anyone hurt them, even if it means having a few run-ins with the police from time to time.

In all honesty, Sonic had no idea what he got himself into. After finding 4 of the five shards he needed to collect, his final destination was No Place. Unexpectantly, he finds Shadow as a captain with the rest of his crew (which was originally Sonic’s back in Green Hill) on a ship in the middle of an ocean, above a submerged Green Hill. Thanks to his charm, they’re willing to help him look for the last shard so he can get back to Nine, fix the Paradox Prism, and most importantly, restore his original world.
Of course it’s not going to be that easy however. Shadow is more than what meets the eye, the Chaos Council has something up their sleeve, and there’s a mystery yet to be unraveled in all due time. Will Sonic be able to fix everything like a walk in the park as always? Or will he finally face the music on the countless catches, of his actions

Sonic. Their hero and saviour.
The golden statue in the middle of the new town was beautifully crafted, it looked exactly like Sonic to the last details of him, and they were were visible even from Nine's hideout.
It made the fox tear up. Gosh. He missed that chili-dog loving idiot. Heck, he never even tried chili-dogs, he just said he hated them to hurt Sonic! Now he wished he could just... turn back time. To change everything. As the town folks, he could also only hope Sonic was okey and happy at Green Hills.
For the first time, he stayed for the night in Hope-town. He sat down front of the golden statue, while the town slept peacefully, and started to talk.
Sometimes, he thought about revealing himself to Rebel and Renegade. To maybe settle here with everyone else, but he knew exactly how people would treat him. He almost destroyed the entire universe. He could never do enough good deeds to erase this kind of damage.
So, overall, aside from feeling lonely, things were going alright. Or so he thought because Council returned in 3...2...1-
