Bakugo Katsuki is having a normal high school experience, for a hero-in-training. On his first field trip, a villain with a flair for the dramatic and far too many quirks appears, clearly trying to ruin that for him. This villain doesn't leave him alone, and becomes strangely familiar with him. Katsuki can almost swear he's seen that face before.
After enough times being not-murdered, he can almost believe that this is just another kid like him, misunderstood and with too much anger. Maybe, he just wants a friend.
Almost believe, because this guy still tries to murder his friends and classmates, and looks a bit too giddy when he hurts someone.

Or, Midoriya Izuku was Quirkless, was gifted a Quirk from All Might, went to Yuuei, fought in a War, lived through the After and was supposed to die. Only he finds himself back in the past with a skewed moral code, PTSD, and an extreme desire to stop his friends from dying brutal deaths. He is going to change the future, make some friends, maybe find a boyfriend, give some Villains a reason to be better and stop some Heroes. For better or for worse.

Izuku last saw his mother a week ago – she hadn’t meant for him to see her like that. She had been sobbing on her bed, trying to scrub the soulmark off of her hand. Izuku hadn’t known how to react, standing frozen in the doorway as his mother – a woman who had portrayed herself as an unwavering figure in his life – sobbed hysterically over his father. He hadn’t seen her the next morning, or the next.
Three days later, the doctor called him into his office, gloating about the new, semi-conscious Noumu he’d been working on for the past few days. It had dark, tacky green skin, and eyes to match, lifeless with the tiniest spark of terror or maybe pain.
At that moment, Izuku couldn’t say how, but he knew.
And a week later, when all hell broke loose, and the Noumu pulled a child towards All For One before exploding, it just confirmed his suspicions.

In which Inko whisks Izuku away to AFO's lair in a feeble attempt to protect him and it all backfires. But, hey, Kurogiri makes great coffee -- the one downside, though, is the fact he keeps bumping into another teen and spilling it everywhere.
