Deirdre awakes in the cold, cruel world of the post-apocalyptic Commonwealth. She has decided to keep a diary detailing her adventures and hopefully keeping herself sane. She has a lot of thoughts and a helluva lot more concerns and she is struggling to keep her sarcastic mouth shut. After a time, she decides that she is not above doing "what needs doing" if it means finding her son.
