Before the finale came out I was worried that in order to make Vox truly realize how much he's lost both Velvette and Valentino would need to end up dead in the final battle. The one thing that can't be replaced- people. And now Vox's pet died protecting his friends from himself, and then those very same people end up getting killed in a fit of rage.
