    Summary

“You look gorgeous in that dress, by the way.”

The goddess snorted. Ah. She rolled her eyes, unwilling to play into his weak attempts at flattery. Had she not made it clear enough that his sweet talkings meant nothing to her?

“I have not had the courage to tell you earlier, so I thought I'd better do it now, before you change into something different.”, he explained.

Kore paused in her walk and he immediately stopped with her.

“My dress is ruined.”, she scorned, glaring at him. “You will not see me in anything but the tunics you gave me until I have fixed it.” And fixing it would take some time, unfortunately.

Hades looked down at the floor, his voice growing quieter.

“I am sorry.”, he mumbled, as if it had been his fault that her clothes had gotten turned into shreds and that she had to wear those dark, gloomy dresses now.

She clicked her tongue in disapproval.

    “No, you're not.”

And she could see the way he tried to suppress a smile at that. She knew he secretly enjoyed that sort of influence he had over her now, that little bit of power. She shook her head at the way he did not deny it.

(Modern day AU ~ burning extremely slow)

Meet Theo Knights — wannabe-author who has not published a single book in his miserable life, and instead wastes his time with late nights on AO3, writing Greek Mythology fics under the pseudonym "telemachus33", growing slowly but surely popular and finally finding some joy in his depressing life.

That is until one night someone called "Antinous_Apologist" leaves a comment under his most recently published chapter, shattering his pride, and starting an enticingly torturous feud between author and commenter...

    Summary

The battle had been fierce. The dragon, a monstrous beast of scale and fire, had put up a relentless fight, leaving the land scarred and broken in its wake. Grian had been at the forefront, his wings a blur of motion as he darted through the sky, evading blasts of searing breath and razor-sharp claws. But even the most skilled of aerial combatants could not emerge unscathed.

By the time the dust had settled and the beast lay vanquished, Grian's wings were in tatters—feathers torn, some burned at the edges, others missing entirely. He landed unsteadily, pain shooting through his back with every movement. That was when Scar had stepped forward. Grian, too exhausted to argue, had let him help. Scar had proven surprisingly adept at the task, carefully preening and smoothing out the damaged feathers, plucking the broken ones with a tenderness that spoke of experience.

In the days that followed, Grian found himself lingering near Scar more often than before. There was a quiet ease in his presence, a warmth. When Scar had offhandedly offered to help take care of his feathers again. It was a gesture of trust, one that carried more weight than Scar likely realized.
