Now that Nam-gyu thinks about it; the deep ball of fury in him, the blanket of resentment that’s always covered him like a cloak he could never unshed, the shakiness of his hands, the agony of withdrawal, Min-su’s betrayal… Nothing feels heavy. Nothing bothers him at all.
It’s been years since Nam-gyu didn’t feel anger.
“I’m… happy,” Nam-gyu realizes out loud, leaning into Thanos’s side.
Thanos hesitates, then leans his head on Nam-gyu’s. “Yeah,” he says softly. “Me too.”---
