As April 1986 begins, the Byers boys and an exhausted El return to Joyce's home in Lenora Hills. Meanwhile, Joyce comes back from Kamchatka - joined by Hopper and a certain Soviet traitor and former prison guard... The two men went through hell and back together, and they know too much.
As a deserter at risk of being found and killed by the KGB, and as a father and husband whose number one priority is safely getting his family into the United States, Dmitri Antonov isn't exactly in a great position to be meeting someone new.
