Summary
“Just say it, Chim,” Eddie replies, his tone clipped.
Chimney winces but presses on. “Eddie…” He hesitates, glancing at Karen like he’s begging her for an out. She nods firmly. No turning back now. “Buck is dead.”
The line goes silent. A heavy, eerie silence that settles over the room like a shroud. She knows what Eddie must be feeling right now—the cold shock, the hollow ache, the frantic disbelief. She remembers how it felt when Chim had told her Hen was dead, how her world had stopped spinning for one agonizing moment. Her hands curl into fists against the table. This is fine. This is part of the plan.
But then there’s a screech through the phone, followed by an extended, blaring honk.
Karen’s stomach drops. Her eyes dart to Hen’s, wide with alarm.
Fuck.

Summary
The picture on the back is a dark tree line contrasted by the wide blue sky above it. ‘GEORGIA’ is written in big white letters across the top, the bottom saying “Welcome to Adventure.” It’s faded, like it has taken one too many trips in the back of a mail truck, tattered and worn.
Eddie flips it over, the back scrawled with quick but somewhat neat handwriting—something personal. Scanning the words his eyes drop to the corner—the address.
‘Maddie Kendall, 1500 Hemlock Ave, Hershey, PA 17033’
What the hell?
Or,
An AU where Buck's postcards, which he sent to Maddie, were forwarded to Eddie on deployment by mistake through a Military Outreach Program. They become a reason for Eddie to hold on through the dark times, becoming attached to the man behind the letters and his stories of his travels. Until Buck's letters start getting sadder, wondering why his sister won't reply to him. -

Summary
Instead of lunging at him, the monster stumbled, as it tried to stand, and Clark saw as a child's leg slipped out of a big black boot before tangling in a yellow belt, small, very childish hands trying and failing to catch it. And maybe… And maybe it wasn't a monster at all, because as Clark watched, transfixed, the kid - because it had to be a kid, he didn't seem to be older than Clark- face planted on the floor without making even a single noise.

Summary
“You two are probably the most likely to believe what I’m about to say. I’ll say it once and after that we really don’t have time. We need to get the others. Today is November 14th…”
Hen and Chim cut Buck off with another laugh, like any of this was funny.
“Thank you, Captain obvious.” Chimney chuckled nervously, knowing that something was definitely different by the way Buck was carrying himself.
“Today, is November 14th, 2029. You’ve been gone for five years and apparently now you and everyone else that blipped is back. Get in the car.”
OR
The blip happens, everyone but Buck and Bobby disappear, and Buck ends up with all the 118 children.
