    Summary

This work contains major spoilers for Transformers One.

Optimus hasn't returned to the miners' barracks since...before. It's definitely not that he's avoiding it or anything--well, not exactly--it's just that there's so much to do as the new Prime.

Today's the day. He's here now.

It's finally time to let himself find out what his best friend left behind.

    Summary

You don't know how long it's been.

The doppelganger's words still ring in your ears, even as you clutch tighter the scissors in your grip. The copy of your coworker's wristwatch died months ago. You don't even have the fucking luxury of a wristwatch in the first place.

How long have you been stuck in this elevator? How do you know it hasn't been months? Years? How can you know if anything has changed, if Earth has continued to spin, if anything is real but the four walls that surround you and the man who stands in front of you now?

But is he real? How can you tell?

You could stain your suit deeper. More scarlet. More warmth, liquid that flows from veins and onto fabric, scissors bending from the force of thrusts. Red scattering the ceiling and walls as your arms rise far above you. A warm body that struggles, slows, turns cold. You could. It would prove it.

    Bookmarker's Notes

Life changing. Jaw dropping. Show stopping. Heart breaking. Chair gripping. Hair tearing. Teeth clenching. Buttcheek clenching. Eye twitching. Tear jerking. Blood curdling. Tongue drying. Ends splitting. Mind expanding. Liver punching. Kidney failing. Artery clogging. Muscle cramping. Adrenaline pumping. Lymph sucking. Cry worthy. Sniffle inspiring. Mastication encouraging.
    Life changing.
