That morning when Jiang Wanyin woke, he couldn't help but grin. Quickly dressing he walked to his office summoning his deputy Jiang Ju and Head Disciple to him.
“Do you both know what the day is?” he asks quietly.
”Yes, sect leader,” they answer with a bow.
”And what happens today?”
”We tell everyone to fuck off if they come to see you.” his Head Disciple says.
”And we don’t bother you unless the manor is burning down or the lakes are drying up.” Jiang Ju added.
“Right. Thank you. You’re both free to go.”
Both bowed to him and the Head Disciple scurried away while his cousin smirked at him.

“It's important,” he bristled, “it's nearest our territory and what's worse is the Cultivators from Earth are beginning to try and capture it. Two have already died. You know if you don't do something now, they will call a Sect Meeting then we'll HAVE to do something. So why not do it and save the trouble?”
“Fine, you go, choose four other disciples and go.
“Yes Sect Leader, right away!” Feng Yaoting said with a smile.“You sure are chipper about facing a yao that's killed people already.”
“That's the thing, Sect Leader, it's said who ever captures the yao will be blessed. That's why everyone is after it.”
