Knight Sei flicked a quick glance at their watching audience, and said, still smiling, “Well, the waterfall will freeze once the sun is no longer hitting the crystal above us. So they need to be quick about finding their kyber crystals, or they’ll be stuck on the other side of the ice.”
“I’m sorry,” Mace said. “Why would you tell them this?”
“Knight Sei’s smile became a little fixed. “It’s standard policy, Master Windu.”
“What is? Scaring kids?”
Or: Mace realizes that raising the first child doesn’t mean you are in any way prepared for the second one.
