Summary
A certain Valkyrie grows restless day by day, wondering why her heart still feels heavy despite succeeding in her lifelong mission of saving humanity. You would think someone like Fu Hua would have figured it all out by now, but there's still some leftover feelings the former celestial was never able to make sense of- crushes.
Faced with the impending realization that this particular affection isn't going to go away anytime soon, Hua is forced to deal with this unknown territory all by herself. Her job isn't made any easier considering the fact that the subject of her feelings is none other than the Herrscher of Sentience, and so she is left at the mercy of fate to deal with conveying her feelings to Senti, potentially without making a fool of herself in the process.

After Hua's painful betrayal, Senti abruptly joins World Serpent in an attempt to add a little spice to her life, deciding she would rather see the world for herself than through Fu Hua's memories and live out the life she's been missing out on. So what if she has to complete some missions here and there, it's not like she can't leave. What's Kevin going to do, stop her? Nonsense! She's the Herrscher of Sentience, she can do whatever she wants!
Unbeknownst to her, the first mission as a World Serpent agent becomes a wild goose chase, where she ends up making an unexpected friend, turning all her plans upside down- and yet, Senti finds that she doesn't mind the way things turn out in the end.
(Set after the Herrscher of Dominance arc, but before Elysian Realm.)
