Izuku's known his neighbor for a rather long time. She was the one that taught him how to sew, bake tasty treats, and even pick out the perfect fabric for any project he might happen to be inspired by.
So it comes as a rather big surprise when she gives him a magical jewelry box filled with mini-gods and artifacts of indescribable power, each connected to a different existing aspect of reality itself.
After-all, she was just a frail old woman. Why would she need to be jumping around the rooftops?
But now that he's the guardian as they've started calling him, he can hopefully use these god powers for good!
Maybe even be a hero with it!
After-all, he had talked for hours and hours about doing so while Quirkless to Marinette...
So why can't he still do so with a bit of help?

Summary
You’ve heard the ‘All Men Are Created Equal’ line more times than you can count. You’ve heard it’s confirmation, that life is awful and people are terrible.
And yeah, that’s true.
But nobody seems to want to change that. They become hero’s, they say how they’re going to ‘Become The Symbol Of Hope And Safety’, but in the end, there will still be villains— there will still be bad people in the world…
So why not do it differently and nip it in the bud at the source?
And if you’re helping them become better hero’s well. That’s just a side effect.

TLDR; When Izuku gains a powerful quirk that let’s him finally complete his dream, he goes the opposite direction and focuses on the villains, giving them comfort and a place to stay and feel safe.
And while yeah, he isn't a totally perfect Samaritan, he's still doing good for the community...
But what else can he do? He isn’t a hero, and sometimes he's actually fighting against them, but he's causing enough change to basically be one.
I mean, he’s got the quirks of at LEAST 15 different hero’s, so the math adds up, right?

The still nameless, pitch-black head coming from his shoulder doesn't seem to be able to show that much emotion. It's face is already twisted into a permanent smile.
"Y'know," It began. "It's honestly tiring how many people think that."
"Well what are you?"
"I am-"
"Cause my apartment has a very strict no-pets-policy and I am not about to break it"
"I'm-"
"I mean, Mrs. Chen will have my ass if she has to carry around a box of tissues for the next week 'cause of her allergies"
"I-"
"And that one time that this Drake guy-" *CRACK*, Izuku stumbles back, falling out the chair and clutching his now broken and bleeding nose. "-FUCK!"
The creature pulls back from it's headbutt, a growl escaping from it like it's clearing it's throat. "Now that you're done talking, I can explain the part where murder is mandatory"
