They spot Shakra sitting next to them, and the waves of panic slowly disappear. The warrior is very visibly tired, but remains in an alert state, awaiting more potential dangers.
“Phantom Wielding Pin, I am relieved to see you awake. I was concerned you had overexerted yourself and used up all of the spool of silk provided to you.” she speaks, breathing a sigh of relief.

Ghost barely even paused to nod in compliance before sweeping their claws along the downy fluff of her wings once more. Hornet sighed, lightly flicking her sibling in the head with a flutter. Ghost stopped and poured as much indignance into their body as they possibly could, and Hornet chuckled teasingly.
‘Rude,’ they signed, crossing their arms and mimicked an angry huff with the calculated rise and fall of their shoulders.

The world of Pharloom is... a LOT different than the one of Hallownest. The currency has changed, the beliefs, the... ruler. There's no Pale King, no Dreamers, no... strings, ironically. Hornet isn't obligated to do anything anymore. Not if she doesn't want to.
Well- she might be obligated to get her siblings back to a world that actually has excess Soul for them to consume but- well. You know.

Things… change.
Ghost supposes that many would probably say that they get better. They do get better, don’t they? Yes, they do. Things change, and they are better. The Infection is gone, and Hollow is safe, and Hornet is happy, and so Ghost is fine. Perhaps they are selfish, and they mourn a dying world that they can never return to, and they are more alone than ever before, but they’ll get over it.
…And it’s not as if anyone will notice if they don’t.
