This is intended to be a slow burn Lacenet story, exploring the two of them as characters spending time together and interacting with the world they are in. I want to see them move towards healing their personal issues, take on the trials of rebuilding Pharloom, and see what they can teach each other in the process. If you stick around for the long haul, expect a decent amount of slice-of-life content, as well as some overarching and sometimes darker-themed antagonists and storylines.

Utterly defeated by the weaver-spawn, Hornet, Lace awakens to find the only home she’s ever known drowned in silk. The unfeeling machine of labor and worship crafted over an age by her liege and mother, Grand Mother Silk, now permanently spun to destruction. Whatever the spider did, it severed the connection between Lace and her mother-god, forcing her to face what remains of Pharloom with a mind burdened by new autonomy and emotions; burdens almost as heavy as a trail of riddles left behind by the red-cloaked warrior. Is Lace caught in another web?
Newly fragile and spiraling out of control, Lace is unable to resist the lure of an order, especially one given by the most interesting thing ever to happen to her. What remains of Hornet will lead her on a quest spanning the breadth of her now dying kingdom and show her that some paths cannot be taken alone.

She stiffened as it turned its wrist to look at her, blinking as its face came into view. She was surprised to see a pale, horned mask. Aside from the crudely-wrapped bandages covering one of its eyes, the shape of its horns and the abysmal state its cloak was in, the resemblance to the spider was quite striking.

Summary

Now, in a changed Pharloom where everything is either in pieces or falling apart, and a new Queen who may be worse than the one they've just gotten rid of begins to stir, Lace finds that the world and something inside of herself won't give in so easily.
Hurting on both the inside and the outside, and accompanied by a very annoying pilgrim who keeps trying to be her friend, Lace finds herself at the forefront of a battle which will change not only the course of Pharloom, but the trajectory of her life forever.

Summary
Alternate Lacenet universe based on Beauty and The Beast. Hornet replaces the Hollow Knight, being the one who carries The Radiance inside of her mind, to give her siblings a life outside of the terrible purpose they were created for, resembling the curse. Lace is the white knight that will get rid of her burden, or, at least that is what she strives for.
The Everbloom is the flower that reflect's Hornet's state of mind, embedded to her emotions, which are slowly ebbing away with the rest of her body. It's on her own claws to remember the determined warrior she was before falling into the maws of The Radiance, in order to keep her shell strong, unable to bound another kingdom to despair. Even though Lace made it her duty to "help" Hornet, she knows little about feelings. Her only purpose is to satisfy her mother, and she will do whatever it takes to strip this disease from the Weaver. She refused to fail on her task, but Hornet wouldn't make it easy for her at all. Her curiosity and envy would bring her to the edge, to experience something she would rather stab herself than to embrace. To love another who saw her as a real bug, instead of the empty shell that she was, and forever would be.
