Bucky Barnes loved puzzles. The new kid, Tony Carbonell? Total puzzle. His wings look like prosthetics, he's smarter than everyone, and really quiet. He's also just about the most gorgeous boy Bucky's ever seen.
Tony Stark is trying desperately to start over after a terrible childhood and a truly horrific early adolescence. He's living with his Aunt Peggy and trying out high school for the first time and using his mother's maiden name to lay low. He doesn't need to make friends - he's never had any anyway. He taking college classes online at the same time he's pretending to be in high school, so he just has to lay low and finish out his 'senior year' and as soon as he turns 18, he'll be off to Boston and graduate school at MIT.
But then James Barnes asks him to dance and all bets are off.

When he reads about a solar-powered car race that pays out in the millions, he knows he can win it. He just needs a car, all the parts, a racing team, a sponsor, a driver, and like a gajillion other things he does not have.
What he does have is: one whole month, an Air Force pilot, an heiress, two enthusiastic teenagers, a discredited science teacher, three ex-cons, a high-tech robot disguised as a Roomba, and a wicked crush on the guy from YouTube.

Summary
It's been two years since Siberia, and Tony Stark is still dealing with the fallout - personal and political. Life is quite complicated enough, without Bruce falling through a wizards roof yelling that Thanos is coming.
Thor and Loki are stalling, but time is running out. The fate of the universe is at stake. Steve Rogers is back in the picture. Really, the last thing Tony needs is for their plan to go horribly wrong and bring Howard Stark forward in time.
But his Dad *is* standing in his office, whether he likes it or not.
So, it looks like Tony will have to fix that mess too.
