Summary
Yun's recovery from her injuries sustained on Ravenhill is not going well. Things take a turn for the worse when she begins to suffer from seizures. Unwilling to become a burden to Thorin, who is all but overwhelmed by his work and duty as King under the Mountain to rebuild Erebor, she secretly takes her leave of the kingdom for Rivendell in the hopes that Lord Elrond may be able to cure her.
As she travels, Yun must also decide whether she should sit back and let the War of the Ring take its course or make use of her "knowledge" and somehow begin the quest to destroy the One Ring before Sauron regains power.

Summary
Yun, a girl living in the 21st century, finds herself plucked from her own reality and thrust into the world of Middle-earth one day. Upon meeting Gandalf, however, she learns that this is not just a random day--just this morning, the dwarven prince Thorin the Second was born under the Lonely Mountain.
Armed with just the rough knowledge of Thorin's life story gleaned from the films she has seen, Yun decides she will do what she can to change the fate of Erebor.
Little does she know, that since the moment she appeared in Middle-earth, her fate has become bound to Thorin's. With disaster looming, she is forced to shoulder the burden of knowing Middle-earth's future and tasked with directing its course to a better conclusion.
