As he stands up, he’s greeted with the back of a head, large pointed red and black ears, and jet black deer antlers.
“Alastor.” His voice betrays him, cracking under the weight of everything he was feeling right now; sadness, remorse, fear, anger, confusion, it all drips off of every syllable.
The chair spins around slowly and that manic grin finds its way to the demon’s face. “Lucifer!” The demon greets as he pushes himself to his feet. “To what do I owe the pleasure?” Radio static clings to every word the demon says and Lucifer watches as he takes 2 steps forward.
“To what do you owe the pleasure?? You fucking- you left! You disappeared! What even happened??” the angel demands, stalking forward to point an accusatory finger at the demon’s chest. “You owe me an explanation.”

“Come here, Wanning,” Mo Ran says in a low voice, gently pulling him onto their bed. Chu Wanning goes with him, still complaining, but he lets Mo Ran guide him to lie down on his back. Then Mo Ran climbs on top of him.
It’s like having a warm, heavy blanket draped over him. An extremely heavy blanket, with a heartbeat and breaths that he carefully keeps away from Chu Wanning’s skin, somehow knowing that air moving over him feels like a wire brush at the moment.
