Grian had always loved looking at the stars. The few times he'd gone to the surface, a glistening black blanket enveloped the world in a serene atmosphere awaited him.
Not that he'd seen them in years. He couldn't remember the exact events that had led him to wherever this was. One moment he was hunting, and the next he was in a transparent box-esque thing filled with water that made his gills burn.

Summary
The Hermits' pasts before donning the title of "Hermit" vary greatly. Some don't remember, others do but just don't talk about it because why should they, and a few even tell grand tales of their previous explorations into the vast world of different servers.
One Hermit, however, can recall his past in immense detail and would really appreciate it if he could be one of the ones that forgets it at some point. Unfortunately, with the way life has kicked him down over and over again, it wasn't going to let him off that easily.
Eventually, he'll learn there's one key difference he has today compared to before: he's not alone.
