Tim Drake is assigned to investigate a ghost cult. Not a big deal, really, until you consider he's sent with Damian Wayne, an assasin who tried to kill him less than a year ago who he is expected to befriend because they're "brothers".
What follows is as much as a mystery as a romance for Tim, and Damian, Dick, and Bruce finally learn actions have consequences- and they can't make Tim fix everything.

"Two lives are too many. I can return one of you- but you must choose."
The abnormally grainy footage didn't allow lip reading, but body language transmitted well. There was Tim stepping forward, and Damien- he said something, had to from the way Tim bent in pain. There was a back and forth between the two before Tim took another step to the king.
"Some heroes," the king said, "I see only one here. I'll return you, as promised."
To Tim, he said, "a hero was sacrificed, so I must accept.""I want to know what was said between Damien and Tim," Bruce said, "and how to get Tim out. I need you to focus on finding any way to get to him without sacrificing soneone."

Summary
Also titled: Jason loves Danny but really, why is he dancing on the Red Hoods last nerve?
It comes out of left field, as so much about Danny does. Whether it's a normal conversation that suddenly turns into a story about that one time in ancient Greece when he built a functional lazer gun to see if he could and accidentally had an entire city's population believing he was Zeus or when he was banned from the kitchen for reanimating a chicken into a foul-mouthed gunslinger, Danny always manages to surprise him.
So when Jason hears that awkward laugh that means something has happened to remind Danny of something objectively awful, Jason knows he should be prepared for ... well, something objectively awful.
"This is freakin delicious, dude. Where'd you say you got it?"

Danny smiles at him, a little shakily, and his voice is watery when he chokes out, "you really scared me, Tim. Don't do that again, secret identity or not.""I'll try," he promises, and knows by Danny's aggrieved sigh that his lack of commitment was noticed. Still, Danny kisses his forehead and sits on the bed carefully. He uses his free hand to dig through a prescription bag- not his usual pharmacy which is much closer to their home, but the one Bruce, Damian, and Alfred use on the other side of town.
"You're taking these," Danny orders. "We can look up the ingredient lists if you want, first, but I've already checked and the pills match what they're supposed to look like, the amounts look good for your body weight and height, and B tracked down the entire shipping history to confirm."
His paranoia is only matched by his father's, and matches well with Danny's overprotective steak. Tim didn't know he could love Danny more, but here they are. "Love you more every day," Tim grits out through a throat coated in dried blood and mostly immovable jaw.

Sam makes a few new friends in Morticia and Grandmama Addams and Danny, eternal chaos gremlin, is back at it again with trying to adopt John Constantine!
Blame the California plates on the car, Tucker does.This is a standalone! You only have to read part 1 if you want to know what Danny's referring to as 'the Living New Jersey' incident.

Summary
Since Danny killed the Joker and discovered a new undead person in Gotham he has a lot of things to do such as find a treatment plan for the guy, get said guy to follow the treatment plan, stay on the down low, and worry about starting university.
Now that Jason knows he's not fully alive he has a lot of things to do such as look into the GIW, look into how the JL was unaware, and figure out how he's going to break the news to his family he isn't fully alive.
This is the second work in a series I advise reading the first part.

He grabs the front of the guy's hoodie and yanks him forward.

He raises both hands. “I fixed your soul!”
“WHAT?!”
“It was crunchy! You were walking around like someone duct taped you back in with rage magic! I just popped it back in place!”
Jason stares. “You just ‘popped’ my SOUL back?!”
“I mean… yeah?”
