This is a collection of short poems based on a prompts list originally posted somewhere on Twitter called "mwharch". I decided to use it for this year's NaPoWriMo challenge for myself and turned it into "mwhapril".
Unrequited love, yearning, and kisses - this is what the poems are about.

Summary
Not long ago, I started writing poems and posting them on Tumblr but decided to move them to AO3, as well. The poems are inspired by fanfics and fanart, but some are original works. You will see the descriptions and links to the works that inspired each poem in the chapter notes, and I highly recommend you check them out!
In contrast to "In the Shadows of Light, We Dream", this work contains poems that may have some triggers such as blood, potential/implied self-harm, going through emotional trauma, grief, anxiety, etc. Some were inspired by incredibly beautiful horror art. So, please tread these waters carefully. There are no rape/non-con, underage themes here, because I myself try to stay away from them for my own self-care :)

And one time, finally, they stopped almost-ing—and kissed.

Summary
In which Wriothesley, owner of a wildlife rescue and sanctuary, rescues a weird-looking not-gopher in a pool, which leads him down a strange mystery involving a government conspiracy, an illegal smuggling ring, and a Iudex that has disappeared from the office, sending Fontaine in a frenzy. Little does he know, the missing Iudex Neuvillette is a lot closer to him than he realizes.
(All he has to do is look closer at the fluffy otter creature currently curled against his chest, shamelessly using his pecs as his pillow.)

Five times Wriothesley stayed without needing permission (to listen to jurisdictional monologues, to weather the kind of rain that gets into your ribs, to pull a quill from unsteady fingers, to bleed on marble tile without apology, and to speak in Neuvillette’s defense before the world could question his name). And the one time Neuvillette, without armor, arrived at Wriothesley’s door and asked to stay, too.
