HEYYY HAPPY SPOOKY MONTH!!!! haven't been in the fandom for awhile, so apologies if any of the details are wrong. I haven’t quite decided whether I'm going to do one shot every single day, or if I'm going to do them twice a week. I am planning to finish 31 oneshots, though, so it’ll either go into november, or i'll try and rush myself to do one everyday LOL anyways, hope you enjoy, and thank you for joining this journey with me :)

“Fuck off,” Chuuya hissed instantly, attempting to set Dazai on fire with his glare. “Fucking—get lost.”
“No can do,” Dazai replied airily, just taking another step closer until he was in range to touch Chuuya. He tried to make his body language as non-threatening as possible, but Chuuya still instinctively leaned away, and Dazai just huffed. It just had to be an injection. Couldn’t be something easier like a pill, or something, no siree. Because nothing could ever be easy, could it?
Or: Chuuya gets poisoned, and the only antidote is via injection. Predictably, he does not react well to that fact.

Summary
Tim's dad is dead, killed by a boomerang to the chest, and Tim is an orphan now. He knows Bruce would adopt him if needed but he couldn't possibly impose himself on the Wayne's more than he already has. It's okay though, because he has a plan for this, he just needs someone to play the role of his estranged "Uncle Eddie".
Except... the guy he hires is weirdly concerned about his well being and Tim can't figure out why.
Meanwhile, Jason Todd is forced to reevaluate his plans for his debut as Red Hood, because, as it turns out, his replacement is a suicidal idiot who can't be trusted to stay out of trouble.
OR
Tim Drake fails to recognize Jason Todd, back from the dead, and hires him to be his Uncle Eddie to avoid getting adopted by Batman. Somehow this ruins everyone's plans.

“I propose,” he declares, pointing now, “a challenge.”
Alhaitham raises a brow. “Do you.”
“I do,” Kaveh insists, like he’s at the altar, like this isn’t a wedding proposal in the worst disguise known to man. “An academic competition. You, me, one topic, one week. Separate workspaces, no cheating, no manipulation, no influencing the judging committee with your absurdly shaped shoulders—”
“Thank you,” Alhaitham interrupts. “I’ve been working out.”
“I wasn’t complimenting you—shut up.”
Or, how two emotionally constipated scholars waged epistemological war instead of just kissing.

Peering into the mirror, Alhaitham found a pair of wide tourmaline eyes staring back at him - pools of aquamarine dotted red and gold at the slits, just like his original human pupils. And his body, a gradient of soft greys and whites, had been decorated with intricate black spots all throughout. Reminiscent of a snow leopard or a silver rishboland tiger, the speckles ran all the way down his sides to his hind legs, and inky, elegant lines curled around his face as if kohl had been painted into his very fur.
Alhaitham, by some curse or some miracle, had been turned into a cat.
