On a random day, as Imu stepped down the Empty Throne, the secret ruler of the World Government fell down the stairs. Naturally, the great Imu did not perish from something so stupid.
Unfortunately, it seems like the Great Imu still suffered from a concussion, because afterwards, he made a decision that was dubbed by the Five Elders as being the most stupid and migraine-inducing decision ever.
What if the World Government was under new management for like, a century?
Imu-sama, what the fuck?
Alternatively, the AU where Imu received brain damage and kicked out the Five Elders around the same time Luffy prepared to set out for this adventure, and what happens when they coincidentally meet the boy at the start of it all.

“I’ll think about it,” Charlotte says with a false, tremulous smile, already knowing she will not take it. Tia had been too proud to take her help before: she remembers wanting to help, wanting so badly, and Big Daddy holding her hand and telling her that Tia’s family would not take anything they didn’t feel like they’d earned. She’d thought it stupid, then, and she still thinks it’s stupid, now. Charlotte will take whatever is offered and then more, but not this. “But I think I’d rather stay. This is still my home.”
It’s her home, but for how much longer? The creditors are fewer, but with Big Daddy around, they at least knew there was a good chance of getting their money’s worth and didn’t bother pushing too hard. Now there’s only Charlotte, and Big Daddy had always kept her away from the business side of things, so she knows nothing. All she knows are the growing piles of correspondence untouched by the entrance, and the people clamouring at the mansion’s gates, and the pitying looks she gets whenever she tries to venture more than one step outside.
She wants Big Daddy back. No matter the price.
