Summary
The only thing Danny’s parents have given him is his reputation as the crazy ghost hunter’s kid.
He has spent most of his life chasing their fleeting affections and attention, it all comes to a head when he dies right under their noses, and they don’t even fucking notice.
Now, he has some nifty ghost abilities and can do anything he wants with no one to stop him.
Except for that annoying “hero” ghost, Plasmius.

Plasmius put a hand on his waist, just above where the thermos hung from his belt, “Just--- hand the spray paint can over, and let’s talk, alright?”
Danny’s shoulders slumped and he slowly floated over to Plasmius like a chastised child dragging his feet.
Plasmius's smile was full of smugness and condescension as he held out a hand toward Danny. “See? Not so hard-”
He was cut off abruptly, eyes screwing shut just in time for a cold sensation to flush over his face, followed by the distinct smell of paint.
Danny cackled so hard he tilted backward, his bright white hair flaming brighter, “Oh man! I can’t believe you fell for that!” He crowed.

The zombie apocalypse is apparently a ghost zombie apocalypse, and Danny is here to suffer for it.
All who are left in Amity Park are Danny, Sam, and Tucker. Things are going as splendidly as they can until Danny gets bitten. Turns out, possessing your own zombie is a great way to do damage control. But now it is even more vital that they find some sort of cure.tldr: Danny is possessing his own zombie corpse so it doesn't eat anyone, and they gotta find a way to fix stuff.

Summary
When Dick took over Tim's infiltration of the Ghost Investigation Ward, he thought he'd be coming out of it with a few files and maybe some information.
Instead, he left with a kid.
Now Dick finds himself trying to learn how to be a father all while helping his new son, Danny, overcome the trauma that he had been dealt by the GIW. It's a roller coaster of a ride, but thankfully Dick isn't alone. Danny now has a bunch of excitable aunts, uncles, grandparents, and even a great-grandfather all ready to dote on him. Dick is determined to give Danny the best life he can manage as he works to keep Danny safe from the myriad of forces that want to harm him.
