The bright colours overwhelmed him almost immediately. Everything was positively covered in glitter and made out of neon plastic. There were blues, yellows, purples, greens, but most importantly, pink. So. Much. Damn. Pink. And as if making his eyes hurt wasn’t enough, his ears were being bombarded by an endless cacophony of “Hi, Barbie!” greetings coming from both the Barbies living in the town and the Barbie that was sitting next to him.
It was nauseating.
“Barbie?”
“Yes?”
“I think I’m going to be sick.”
