Summary
Everyone in Oakhurst is magical. (Except for Avid)
No one in Oakhurst is a vampire.
In fact, Oakhurst doesn't really have a history with vampires.
Of course, everyone is pretending that vampires and magic isn't real so they aren't found out for being magic.
But as everyone slowly figures out what everyone is, shenanigans, and angst, ensues.
Avid, of course, remains oblivious. -

Summary
Wen Ning was sure this death would be permanent. There wasn't a Wei Wuxian to resurrect him and he figured it was better that way. Almost all those he loved were gone anyway so there was no reason to stay. If given the chance there were things he would do differently. People he would talk to sooner. Relationships he would foster faster. But he was dead, and there would be no third time.
Turns out the Universe had a horrible sense of humor.

Summary
Owen isn't an idiot. He knows that if Scott finds out he's basically a newborn in vampire terms, he's going to take the easy meal and kill him. So, he lied-said he had been alive 200 years instead of in a state of unconciousness for 200 years. Hopefully Scott buys it.
Scott knows Owen is full of bullshit. No Sire would let a fledgling that young out of their sight at 200 years old, let alone out here. He thinks he's roughly 300, and is lying to make himself look like less of a threat.
Scott and Owen have a truce-they both stay out of each other's business and don't kill any humans. But for some reason, Owen is so, so hungry. And animal blood isn't cutting it.
Scott, on the other hand, is a little concerned at how bad at vampirism Owen is.

A young boy who had his life ahead of him like many kids.
He was nice, and always willing to help, he was playful, and he always had a huge smile on his face.
His best friend was actually his mannie, (male nanny) Glenn Rehee.
"Glenn! Glenn! You won't believe it! I got a 100 on my math test!" Blake said waving the page happily.
"Really? Sweet! See I told ya you could do it!" Glenn said high fiving him.
"Yep! So does that mean that I can have a treat?" Blake asked.
Life was amazing, but just as good as it was it quickly turned...different.

"You have to believe me! If we go out there there's gonna be someone in the guard tower! He's gonna kill us!"
