Hello my fellow watchers!!! I thought that today I would post about a case that I haven't seen anyone discuss *in detail* on here. This one actually comes from my hometown of Vancouver! No, not the one in Canada, but in Washington State. Now, if you were to look this case up online, you might not spot anything at a first glance. Luckily for you, your wonderful poster has looked into this very thoroughly, and I can assure, not everything is as it seems. Let me set the scene for you.
The year is 2009. The Guidry family is happily living in their suburban home.
This work expands on the backstory of my OC from the fic "should seasons change for ill/remember, come what will", but very much can be read as a standalone. Be warned that this story contains spoilers for that fic.

Is there anything worse than a friend of a friend showing up at your workplace just to flirt with you? As it turns out, yes. That would be running into them later that same day, only you're both wearing disguises, but you only recognized her and not vice versa. It's even worse when they happen to be breaking the law. Just yet another social interaction that makes Rozalia want to bang their head against the wall.

Summary
When the polyester suit bought from a costume shop in a drunken haze isn't enough to keep fighting crime anymore, it's time for Rozalia to take matters into her own hands. Without any handy "Superhero Tailors" in sight, and any alternatives costing far too much, she sets out to cobble together a costume by herself. One that will not only serve her better, but also won't make her look like a crazy person.
'Costumes were a big point of contention when it came to superheroes. Men's versus women's, where do they get them from, how realistic they should be, or how colorful. Whether useless lines and panels were needed for live-action adaptations, or should they stick to the source material’s simplicity. And with the rise of the MCU, is it better to use nanotech or not (not, obviously).'

Summary
Sanguine: Optimistic, or, Blood-red.
It was meant as a simple act of compassion: encouraging a bitter spirit to move on from memories of a dark life and a shameful death, and so be freed from the demi-plane that held him trapped.
Exactly how he does that seems to be up for debate.
Iswen, paladin of Kelemvor, accidentally brings Zaknafein Do’Urden back from the dead (about a century ahead of schedule for those following along at home). However he got here, wherever "here" is, he is determined to take the second chance she’s offered and carve out a better life for himself, even if that means living on the surface. Especially if it means forming an unexpected and unlikely partnership with the paladin who freed him.
But, really, she throws herself into more fights than he does, and someone needs to watch her back: if it’s him, he can repay his debt to her and be done with her.
He always was good at lying to himself.

In which Logan accidentally volunteers to help babysit the latest addition to the Xavier Institute, a strange new student that was quite literally left on their doorstep. However, this student isn't quite a "student" at all; it is a weapon left without a handler. Unfortunately, the new mutant now thinks Logan is his handler. Even more unfortunately, Logan knows more about this situation than he would like to.AKA an AU that embellishes on the fact that Kurt was being used as a weapon by Stryker at the beginning of X2, turning the situation into a recovery scenario that ends up helping both Kurt and Logan overcome their Weapon X conditioning.
