These warriors and more are drawn into events that will forever shape their universe as it recovers from the temporal event called the Syzygy. Features dramatic boss fights, fantasy geopolitics, and a nonlinear healing journey for a deeply problematic and sympathetic trans woman.
These are narrativizations of a D&D campaign continuity that I've been quietly running and playing in for the past decade and a half. The fics here cover the final arcs that we played from 2021-2024, with a bit of context for what came before. The setting is a collaborative homebrew world that uses the Fourth Edition cosmology and pantheon. I have been posting these to my Substack, but a friend asked me to post them on Ao3 as well, so here you go!

Counting the series as a whole, this is one of the three best hypno stories I’ve ever read. (The third is sadly not on Ao3.) The utter inevitability of Handler sets the standard for any dom I ever try to write, though I don’t think any really hold a candle to her. And the story of Sartha Thrace, and all the women broken by seeing how broken she is, is perfect.

Summary
A routine mission transforms into Blake's worst nightmare. Injured, and with two unconscious teammates to protect, she's forced to make a deal—her freedom for Yang's life. And as for Weiss... well. He won't let a Schnee go that easily. Blake is just going to have to hope they can work together to get home alive.
It's a little unfortunate, then, that Weiss tends to choose fight over flight.

Lord. I have been craving a story that does something worthwhile with the White Fang for years, and for a while I thought I’d have to write it myself. I’m relieved to see this has already been made. Stirring, ghastly, and unpleasantly realistic — this is a masterpiece.
