After accidentally getting de-aged by the GIW, Danny and Dani find themselves in Gotham and latch onto the nearest undead person they can find to avoid drawing attention to themselves. Jason, said nearest undead person, makes the mistake of feeding them and now they won't go away.
Basically I wanted an excuse to write a fluffy found family fic where Jason gets rightfully teased for inheriting the adoption gene and these kids finally get the love they deserve.

It's........ Eeh. They really put their OC through some shit in her backstory before we even get the story and I just don't see why.
Like 'Ooh look at me I have trauma so I'm full of angst and anxiety and I like you because you treat me better than my abusers did and I understand pain and hardship so we can make this work'
I understand that you want some foundation where you can work with your character so that she fits into the narrative of the story without it seeming overly forced which you did with her backstory I just don't see why you took it so far I know it's real and it does happen to people but Damn.
I'm just trying to enjoy some viking love why you gotta make it so hard to get through the first hurdle which is to get through the beginning of the story to get to the good part and so far it seems like it's going nowhere.
Which is a shame because I've still got 100 chapters left and it doesn't look like we will get very far seeing as the OC is still... just doing.... Whatever it is she is doing.
I haven't read this in a while and that's how I know I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to because I still remember what I actually don't like about it instead of just remembering that I don't like it but not why.
Take what I say with a grain of salt seeing as with all my dislike of this story it's still in my bookmarks.
Maybe I just like to suffer -
