Upon seeing that wooden brush on the shopkeeper's table, all of those memories came flooding back.
Freminet stared at it for a long time. It looked exactly like the brush Maman had used to brush his hair. He thought he'd forgotten what it looked like, but here it was, the exact same model. The bristles were the same, the handle was the perfect width… The only thing missing was the obvious wear and tear present on the original. This was a brand new brush, still in its dusty package.
What a coincidence. He found something that reminded him of his mother, while on his way to visit her grave.

Captain Barnacles: The autopilot system malfunctioned, and it took us through the storm. The Octopod is in manual steering mode, and I am currently piloting it in my pajamas.
Shellington: How are you feeling, Captain?
Captain Barnacles: Hanging in there, Shellington. Are you writing that down, too?
Shellington: Yep.The Octopod's autopilot system malfunctions, and takes the ship right through a storm. Captain Barnacles sacrifices his sleep to steer the ship through the night, making sure they get out of the storm and arrive safe and sound at their destination.

They are all good children. Good, honest and lovely children. As a big brother, it is Lyney’s job to give his siblings good dreams. It’s his job to be with them until they die. But in truth, he knows that he’s the most dishonest amongst the three of them. His insecurities began to well up inside. If they continue to live on in this life of danger, there is no telling what will happen to his siblings. Lynette and Freminet are his precious siblings. He has to preserve their lives.
But he doesn’t want to be left behind either.
TLDR; Lyney fears the day of becoming ‘Father.’

Fukase's highschool graduation. He had high expectations; his mom had bought him the dress he had been wanting for a year, he was going to dance with his friend, wish a happy goodbye to that awful stage in his life, to that horrid school, but everything goes wrong.
Luckily Flower is there to save the night.
