Summary
Ditched in the woods right after becoming after a tragically traumatizing birthday, and denied what had been promised, Bella sets out for some sort of compensation against those who left her behind. Decides that waiting for her prince to rescue her wasn't going to happen. This is partially based on book about surviving supernatural experiences that a friend got me for a gift. The story title is based on a chapter of how to break up with a vampire. There's politics, and relationship hijinks. I'll be honest and let you know this is slow, and I'm slow so no promises on finishing.

The fact that his baby cousin hadn't been able to shut up about his pastel-colored teammate since the incident made it even funnier.
Despite the rumors that often circulated amongst Uchiha fanclubs in the Academy, it wasn’t a show of being delicate or needing protection that tended to earn the admiration and attraction of his fellow clan members.
It was a display of brute strength.
Poor little Sakura-chan had no idea what she’d just signed herself up for.

“Or,” says Sakura, “if you don’t have any questions – then I might as well go back to the hospital. I might as well just—”
Karin folds her arms on her knees and leans in. “There are other things we could talk about,” she says. Her voice is lower than usual. It’s huskier than usual, too; and she’s studying Sakura intently, with an expression that’s more than a little difficult to read: intense, very focused, blushing darker by the moment.
(For better or worse, not everyone is as oblivious as Sasuke.)

Summary
It was Sasuke who had caught her attention and drawn the course of her life for a little while, and his betrayal was an embarrassing blemish on the map of life. Or so each kunoichi thought. Really, he was just a tiny coincidence in the vast swirling cosmos of a larger picture.
