Summary
Tim is in his childhood bedroom. Well, sort of. The walls are as beige as ever, the comforter the same deep blue, and the morning light filters through the window in a way he’s seen a million times over. But the camera on his desk is new, and so is the soft gray blanket draped over his chair, and so is the photo album in his hands.
He’s not sure why he’s here, or when he got here, or even what day it is. He doesn’t know where the photo album came from.
And yet, it all feels so familiar.

Floppy black hair, a wiry build, and a calculating stare he mistook for fervent curiosity.
A Robin in sheep’s clothing.
Though not his namesake, perhaps the boy would be better likened to a vulture, indulging itself on what should be dead.
Bird symbolisms aside, Jason’s revelation disturbed him. Just days ago, he invited Tim to have dinner, and together, they watched a movie. Just days ago, Jason was thinking about how this random kid off the street was starting to become like a brother to him. Just days ago, he was being manipulated.
But today, he’ll have his revenge.

For all the searching and secrecy, all Peter ever wanted to do was keep Neal safe. Did he go about it in the perfect way every time? Probably not. But he’d keep trying until Caffrey was good to go, once and for all. He couldn’t stop, not when there was no one else looking out for him the way he was. He deserved to have someone in his corner.
“Give him a slice of normalcy,” Diana said, and patted him on the shoulder.

Summary
