Summary
From this: Minho is the chef of his own wildly successful restaurant. Outside of work, he's a homebody who loves to stay home with his fur child(ren) and exist. It's a very comfortable daily routine of getting up, going to work, meeting his food supplier in the morning, doing chef-y things, clocking out in the evening, and going home to veg out and make fun of Hyunjin's latest dating fail. One day, the old man who usually supplies him with fresh produce is replaced by his stupidly and distractingly handsome grandson, Bang Chan. Then, his comfy routine has a wrench thrown into it, and that wrench keeps twisting when Chan seeks him out more and more outside of working hours.

I added a twist: After the unimaginable thing Lino committed to that guy - his "ex" - he knew he needed stability after ten years of twisted life. Set in various timelines of canon compliant: after Song Mingi just got home after his military enlistment and a night BEFORE his military enlistment. Right after he came back from enlistment, the nightmares from the conversation with Yunho one night before his enlistment rushed back into Mingi's memory.
"How unrealistic you should be to realize I am not the one you are looking for! And now, one night before fulfilling a duty that none of us like, you are tangling us in this irrational emotion and wishes?
"Oh, I see the problem now. It's not me who does not know what I want. It's you who is a coward, someone who is not letting himself be in love. How convenient that you blame that on me. How-"
"SO WHAT IF IT'S TRUE? How is it my fault that I don't let myself love you or fight for you? You know me; I will never give up on something I love. And if I already let myself love you, I will not give up on you. And we both know there's no future in us."

The suit was fucking hideous, that was the only thing he knew for sure. It was a whole offense under Mingi’s expert gaze.
That monstrosity had to be from that stuck-up asshole at the dry cleaners, he was long as hell so the pants made absolutely no sense, but also, why the fuck was the jacket so big in comparison? Whoever had to wear it would end up being engulfed by the thing, if he had to judge solely by the size of the pants. Wait, he did mention he had been there for his boss... Was this dude’s boss Gru from Despicable Me?

Mingi has some unsolved issues and hates on Yunho at first sight, judging him hard... but as they are forced to interact more, he soon realises his mistake so he decides to make it up to him in a lowkey unconventional way.

Summary
Here’s the thing, Mingi loves Yunho. He always will love Yunho. Yunho carries a part of him that he’ll never get back, nor does he want to get it back. That piece belongs to Yunho, a piece he left back in Seoul and long before he came to LA, proof that Mingi once had him and loved him. Loves him.
But in loving, there’s also acceptance and letting go. Mingi has done all three. Time has granted him as much.
Sometimes, however, time can be a funny thing, and at times, a very cruel thing.
