When Ari Trevelyan (M.Tav) wakes with a new wriggling bestie in his head, it's really a lot less alarming than it should be. He's used to constantly feeling like he's on the verge of losing all control and dying dramatically in a gory explosion. When neither your past OR your future feel safe from the fire in your veins, you tend to turn into a self-destructive flirt with no real direction. Life loses its charms.
Lucky for Ari, Astarion has enough charm to fell mountains and redirect rivers. Summary
Sephiroth finally manages to kill everyone during one of his many returns from the dead. He is a badass, nearly all powerful god of destruction and completely bored out of his oh so perfect, superior mind now that he’s gotten his way. He starts missing his fights with his only rival and the entertainment they provided but cannot pull the other away from a protective lifestream for long or return him to life. So he decides with nothing better to do and ridiculous amounts of power, he’ll just return them to a point in time when they both were alive and Sephiroth had easy access to manipulate his favorite puppet.
Cloud is not happy to find himself a trainee/infantryman again and the other Firsts and upper management cannot for the life of them figure out why the “Great Sephiroth” is stalking the blond and acting like a bratty, bullying seven year old with his first crush.

Summary
For the longest time, there was nothing. Perhaps a dream here or there, or maybe memories? Link wasn’t so sure anymore. The only concrete thing he could grasp amongst his dreams was a grainy yet strong silhouette of a bird-like being that held a large bow between its feathery hands. However, if he dared to get any closer, the being would always be a hair out of his reach. Link could only ever just barely see the bird’s fiery emerald stare and tight but warm smile. Never once did the bird speak, that was at least until Link had dared to venture too close.
“You know, Link, it’s been rather indulgent of you to keep us waiting so long.”
Basically, a retelling of breath of the wild, except Link and Revali were childhood friends.
