“Unfortunately,” Dazai laments, sighing dramatically. “You just got away with ‘science nerd’ and ‘soccer player,’ but I’m supposed to be an artist! I hate art! It’s useless!”
“Shut the fuck up. That’s not the problem here. You? A ‘zest for life?’ Looking forward to each new morning? Hah! Rimbaud would sooner come back to life.”
Dazai turns to Chuuya with the barest facsimile of a smile painted over his lips.
“I,” he says sweetly, “am going to gut you open like a fish.”
Dazai and Chuuya are seasoned mafiosos at the ripe old age of almost-seventeen. They’ve fought gang wars, interrogated prisoners, and done all manner of unspeakable things. Now, they face their greatest challenge yet: going (undercover) to a real high school. With regular teens (who may or may not be desperately trying to get them to kiss).

This time, he was greeted by a new, extremely adorable face, with chubby cheeks and the smallest nose that Dazai had ever seen, all covered in freckles that are just barely visible. As if all this doesn't make him look extraordinary enough, his appearance is completed with a beautiful shade of ginger hair. Not to mention the big, blue eyes that were staring right into his soul and making him nervous.

“Uhh, guys, we should call Aizawa, the guy is bleeding from his head.” She points to the unconscious man laying on the ground, curled on the ground. The man has a strained look as if in terrible pain, the red hair stuck to his skin like glue and blood streaming down his face with strange red markings.

For his first few Christmases away from school, Dazai would just lock himself up in his room to avoid contact with his guardian, but after a few days, fights over dinner couldn't be avoided.
He prided himself on succeeding in getting on his guardian's nerves and couldn't help targeting him with poisonous indirect insults. Their caretaker, on the other hand, always knew the precise words he had to say to upset him. This made the whole Christmas experience at home not very fun for Dazai.
Oda's presence at home was the only thing keeping him from staying at school on Christmas every year. So when Oda said he would not be coming home this Christmas as he wanted to spend some time with his "friend", Dazai and Akutagawa sighed in relief. Akutagawa also mumbled something about staying with a friend.
It was all the same to Dazai, he knew this meant he could finally have a lonely and peaceful stay at Hogwarts. Probably.A story about a fourth-year Slytherin Dazai, expecting a peaceful stay at Hogwarts during the Holidays, until a certain Gryffindor interrupts.

Dazai had expected life after the Decay of Angels incident to go pretty smoothly. Sure, there were the bumps of the deal Fukuzawa had made with Mori and the Agency's tattered reputation— not to mention the nagging feeling he got whenever he thought of Fyodor— but it was nothing he wouldn't be able to handle with time and an unfortunate amount of effort.
That was of course before he'd received a letter from European wizarding authorities. Well, he might as well make the most of this situation and knock out some of his problems in the process. Better yet, he could drag Chuuya along for the ride.
Or: Dazai (who just so happens to be the son of a British wizard terrorist) gets into magical legal trouble. The wizarding world is not prepared.
