He places the first stone onto the sand and absentmindedly wonders if his grave, too, would’ve been made with cobblestone.
(If he were Tommy or Wilbur or someone that mattered.)He steps on top, jumping to place another stone beneath him.
He blinks, realizing this will be his grave.
Another jump.
He can’t even lie and say he’s that upset about it.
Another.
At least he’d have one this time.
(Or, after months of loneliness and heat consuming Jack from the inside out, he decides to finally just end it all, but though he doesn't know it, the method he chooses is awfully familiar to the one person he hopes won't find him.)

It was something so seemingly inconsequential to be ignorant of, but that didn’t change the fact that she wanted to know. The same way she wanted to know what he dreamt about at night, and if his skin would be soft beneath her hand.
(Or, 47 and Diana finally have a moment of peace to themselves after years of chaos, and they spend it getting to know each other a little better.)

Her hand felt around the doorknob.
Holding her breath, acutely aware of how much her hand trembled, she twisted the knob and pushed the door open, eyes squeezed shut.
The harsh blow of the air conditioner hit her face.
She knew she wasn’t trembling from the temperature drop, though.
(Or, frantic to reassure herself it was all just a dream, or at the very least some cruel joke made at her expense, Noelle runs to check on Berdly in the library. There's nothing funny about it.)

He’s yelling.
It’s getting hot again.
“Stay with me Jack,” Niki soothed. “You’re here with me, feel my hands? It’s okay.”
Deep breaths. She’s not going anywhere. He has to keep reminding himself of that.
(Or, Jack finally tells Niki about him losing all of his lives and the trauma that came with it, and she listens.)

Summary
He’d never really gotten a good look at Tubbo’s face since the Festival. Techno remembers that look of absolute terror on his face as he lined the crossbow up with his temple. He remembers that boy stuffed in a suit with a tie that didn’t fit him, trapped for everyone to see.
But now was different. Tubbo’s face held traces of uneasiness but nothing like that fear he’d seen before. Now he held fury in a coat that he’d tailored himself, and the scarring across his face only highlighted that pain in his eyes.
(Or, Phil asks Techno what happened with the Festival, and Techno finally faces Tubbo about that day, forcing them both to have a confrontation about those events that's long overdue.)
