Summary
They say it is in a moth’s nature to be drawn to a flame. They say it is inevitable she will flit through the air in a light-struck daze, drawing ever-closer to the mesmeric dance of ember and spark, before the merciless tendrils of fire reach her delicate wings and scorch away her fur.
And in her gruesome end at the hands of her desired pyre, she will not scream, nor will she struggle; for her devotion is stronger than that of the pain, and her final moments will be blissful in its warm embrace.
…But they also say some may rebel against nature if they believe themselves superior to it. Some may say the moth may turn to fire herself, and the flame will sprout her wings. That the moth may coax the blaze, leading its destruction to wherever she dances.Such rebellion is typically punished.
But Monch is yet to suffer any such repercussions.

A series of encounters between the Monch and the Lamb, from the perspective of the former, wherein sinister intentions and a series of secrets may be spilled… That is, if the moth’s silver tongue can be put to rest for even a moment. -

It is the story of an old mycologist, just on the brink of retirement, who chose to go on one last excursion for the purposes of furthering his research.

Following the Embrace the Void ending, the Lord of Shade is finally reborn, and the void unites under their control.
The vessel that successfully rose to the Godseeker's challenge, Ghost, has been gifted control over this massive sea of void. They are the Shade Lord, and with that, they are a God.
Any and everything that once was void has now congealed into the Shade Lord as well. All previous vessels, the king's experiments, and some... uh... very unfortunate companions...
Such as an angry self-proclaimed knight with a superiority complex, and a crazed, grub-obsessed failed kingsmould.Oh, no. Wait. This isn't what Ghost signed up for.

Summary
Technically, I could've put this all into one story, but I continue to get sidetracked. As does the vessel, who comes to the horrible truth that they possess something called emotions.
Called "Weeping Cliffsides" for now, as most of this takes place in the Howling Cliffs. May change the title if I continue this specific plotline in other areas of Hallownest.
