Kenny's father had a dangerous look in his eye, the way he looked when the ice was thin and Kenny should know better than to take another step. He snapped his mouth shut with an audible clack, torn between two evils. If he argued enough, maybe he could stay inside where it was at least a little warmer, and where he could go to sleep finally. If he argued enough, though, he may also end up getting his shit rocked.
