Cyn had lived for far too long.
That was a fact, a bitter pill to swallow. She was too strong for humanity to kill outright. They blasted her to bits and bits, yet she kept regenerating.
She was evil.
Yet she prospered. And humanity faded away. It was unfair.
He survived though, he lived in pure spite. Yes, but he still drew breath. But Cyn was too powerful for him to kill directly, so he waited.
And waited.
And waited.
Until eventually, an opportunity came forth, and he bit hard.
But as he stared into violet eyes with a tinge of yellow, a barrel pressed into its visor, he wondered...

The First Man dies in the smoldering ruins of the Hazbin Hotel, which he himself destroyed. As the light fades from his eyes, the last thing he hears is the desperate cries of his beloved lieutenant. But just as the cold embrace of oblivion claims him, he wakes up staring at the big red pentagram in the sky above the Pride Ring. His skin dyed black, horns spiraling from his head, he was an angel-turned-sinner. Down here, if anyone got even a whiff of who he was, he would be ripped apart. So he has no choice but to turn to the one person in Hell that might give him a chance: Charlie Morningstar, the very owner of the hotel he had just demolished, and the woman he had just been tormenting for months. Would she be able to accept him? Would anyone be able to accept him?
Was the First Man worthy of redemption? Was he capable of redemption? He'll have to go through Hell to find out.
