Gatorland is directly on Highway 441, just north of the Orlando-Kissimmee line, 20 minutes from Walt Disney World and Sea World. Astarion’s there for information, not necessarily connections, but he’d also been told to stay open-minded. Specifically, Cazador had told him to keep an eye out for anyone whose scruples are few.

Someone shoulders Cazador aside. ‘Hello, dearest! So sorry I’m late.’ The stranger slides into the booth seat next to him. With his back turned to Cazador, he gives Astarion a meaningful wink. 'You were right, I should have got the bus. Far too much traffic about at this time of night...'
It takes Astarion a moment to catch on, but he is a lawyer. Thinking on his feet is second nature. ‘That’s quite alright, love.’ He places his hand over the stranger’s, glaring at his ex. ‘You didn’t miss anything.’
It’s a rare thing to see Cazador lost for words. This complete stranger has placed himself between them like the world’s bravest sandwich filling and is gazing at Astarion so fondly that he almost believes he does have a boyfriend.

He trails a hand up his stomach. Gale is firm to the touch, solid and real. So real. More real than Astarion’s used to, for sure. The human’s breath hitches when he presses his palm to the center of his chest just under the mark on his sternum and hitches further when their eyes meet.
“Leather, lace, netting, hide, and fur. Cool air on warm skin. Herb that hits smooth and gives a calming high. Smoked meats, nutty cheeses, honey and jam, a good glass of red wine. You’re a glutton, aren’t you?”

Gale sneaks away from camp for some alone time, Astarion follows, and they have a great time.

With two discerning appetites, a deal to keep each other fed is the one thing that ties Astarion and Gale together. But the proverbial collar slips all too easily around Gale's throat, the lead feels right in Astarion's unchained hands, and both men think they've bested the other in a game neither should be playing.
In any case. As the greats say in lanceboard: there is no shame in losing to a stronger foe.
