They’re laughing. Both of them. Without Buck. Tommy and Eddie.
Buck watches the two of them, thick as thieves, from where he’s standing across the landing strip. When Eddie said Tommy had invited him to tour the LAFD air hangar, Buck didn’t think he’d end up third wheeling this hard. He was just trying to stay involved in Eddie’s life. But it seems to be already full between Tommy and Marisol taking up time that used to be reserved for Buck.
Now, as Tommy and Eddie are in their own world, talking about flight experiences and stories that Buck has no place discussing, he’s beginning to regret his choice. It’s supposed to be Buck-and-Eddie, not this interloper.
Now, it’s just Buck alone. Scowling because of an emotion he refuses to identify.
