    Because if Lucy Gray was a songbird who refused to be caged, Sejanus was a stray puppy, one that wanted nothing more than a real home and an owner. Coriolanus never cared for dogs that much, but he could definitely see the appeal now. A loyal innocent creature, satisfied with his collar, content with being cared for.

    The fact that this stray puppy came with his ticket out of poverty was also an amazing point.
