Summary
It was a Tuesday, and Enjolras was late for his lecture. He was late, it was raining, the buses weren’t running, and he had three papers to write that weren’t going to get done in time. It didn’t matter. The empire was falling at last, and he cared. He could see the Bastille being stormed before his eyes.
or, a meditation on the state of the United States of America in the year 2025, from the lens of Les Mis slash.

It is hard, to live as a monster. It is hard, to accept that you are a monster.
There’s this dark thing inside her soul. She keeps it chained up in the basement of her heart, locks the cellar door and tries to throw away the key. She can forget about it. Never feed it. Stay out of the basement. Cover it with padlocks and do not enter signs. But it will always be there.
But Abigail will always know it’s there.

The Earl of Southampton and the Earl of Essex, as interpreted by me.
"Southampton's first love came in the shape of a man; his heart had no room as yet for love of woman." - Charlotte Carmichael Stopes, in her 1922 biography The Life of Henry, Third Earl of Southampton.

Summary
In hindsight, Suga can identify a number of guilty parties involved in the manufacturing of his own personal quarter-life crisis. He blames himself for his willingness to take a joke just a little tiny bit too far; he blames Daichi for having such nice, muscular thighs; he blames online women's lifestyle magazines for doling out questionable relationship advice to impressionable youths; he blames Kuroo for being, well, Kuroo.
Mostly, though, Suga blames his own inordinate love of hot chili oil and Daichi's inability to comprehend exponential functions, because somehow, improbably, the collision of those two innocent variables is what kickstarts this whole mortifying situation in the first place.

In which the sons of Fëanor throw house parties, the beer is terrible, 20-something hipster elves act like their drama is as bad as it is in canon, and macking on cousins is fair game.
75% banter, 20% soap opera, 5% fratty humor; 100% dramamonsters.

“...And this weekend is my best friend’s wedding, and you’re inexplicably planning it, and you wear lots of pink, and you say things like, There’s a fire sale in my bedroom, all clothes 100% off. Unironically.”
Eliot bit his tongue. “I mean, a little ironically.”

Quentin Coldwater is the youngest and hottest architect in New York City, while his best friend Eliot Waugh is just along for the ride––on his bright pink moped, of course! But when Quentin impulsively quits his dream job to chase love atop the Empire State Building, he panics at the last second… and makes a world-shattering claim. Now, it’s up to Eliot to ensure this strange new Q still gets his happily ever after (ideally without destroying his whole life in the process.)

Summary
When the Hero Public Safety Commission says ‘jump,’ Hawks skips asking 'how high' and works his way from jump rope to jumping jacks before opening his mouth to complain that he can fly. Their latest request, a PR campaign geared to present Hawks as the heroic icon of the masses, at least seems easier than getting his feathers burned off by Dabi’s pet noumu… Right?
In which Hawks gets surgery, defeats a traumatized villain, receives some unwelcome fanmail, garners the sympathy of terrorists, accidentally forges enough relationships to cumulatively value as at least one friend, and maybe, eventually, asks for help - not necessarily in that order.
