Notebook Entry #1:
Surviving has been difficult, but I think caught the hang of it. I sleep where it’s dry. Eat when I can. I talk less every day, so I’m putting the words somewhere else.
Planning to start moving toward Pittsburgh. I’m not far anyway. Heard they have groups of survivors and ‘safe havens’ with generators and clean water. God, sounds like a fucking dream.
Going to the city might be risky, but this place is running out of food. I need to go. Or at least that’s what I’m trying to convince myself of.

Dennis Whitaker is a lonely, barely coping survivor in the apocalyptic world of 2025. His days, dull and wordless, consist only of the basics: search, eat, sleep, repeat.
Dennis thinks this is what it means to live nowadays; but when he arrives in Pittsburgh, his whole world changes for the second time this year.
And this time, it’s for the better.

Summary
Athena, just like the captain said, is a lone wolf. She simply dislikes working with another person. But it seems like Captain Elaine Maynard doesn’t care, because for the second time this week, she is assigned a rookie to mentor — with the first one finishing his career in a complete disaster, and with her assuming that the second one, being the hotshot that she thinks he is, will finish his own career in a familiar way.
She doesn’t realize how wrong she is. Or how attached she’ll become to this rookie.

After being kicked down from swat to patrol, Street doesn’t get a patrol partner he knew once upon a time.
Instead, he gets sent to a completely different station, and assigned to a sergeant that doesn’t seem too keen on working with him. -

Summary
The 20-David team, though not intentionally, befriends a coyote that seems just too intelligent to be quite a regular animal. And with shapeshifters being not that unusual in LA, the officers begin to suspect that there’s a person hiding behind these wild, oddly saddened eyes.
or
Patrol Officer Jim Street never had a place to call home or people to call his own. When he keeps running into the all too friendly SWAT team, he finds himself strangely drawn to them.
But they’d never accept the person that hides behind the coyote, would they?

Summary
The thing about Branzy is that he is a coward, and one of the weakest players of lifesteal based on PVP skills. So, naturally, associating himself with any kind of assassin or violent player would be pretty stupid. But, well, he is known for being kind of stupid.
This time, though, it is not his stupidity that gets him into trouble. It’s a plugin glitch, of all things.
or
There is no such thing as a peaceful day on lifesteal, so when Branzy starts taking damage out of nowhere, he quickly realises that something is wrong.
He doesn’t except this ‘wrong’ to turn into ‘very wrong’ when he finds out that he is soul-bound to the deadliest assassin around here, though.
(He also doesn’t except this bond between them to grow into something deeper. That’s the scariest part.)

Summary
Brian never wanted to be apart of the superhero life, so he settled into a peaceful life at Harry's garage instead, hiding his powers from the world - because everyone knows how healers are treated by the so-called heroes. So Brian hides away, intending to use his healing only in emergencies.
But desperate times call for desperate measures, and when he stumbles across an injured member of the most vicious villain team in LA, he has to make a decision.
And Brian was never good at making the best decisions for himself.

Summary
In an attempt to avoid a trap laid by Decepticon forces, Bumblebee accidentally triggers an incident in the groundbridge, where he's the only victim.
At least, that's what it seems like. But some things may not be as accidental as they first appear.
