With GeneCo's designer organ technology, never again would an organ failure be a death sentence. They introduced organ financing, payment plans that cheat death.
However, there was one caveat: If a client couldn't keep up with their payments, then their purchase could be repossessed.
My semi-novelization of Repo! The Genetic Opera in which I try to do the story more justice than the film did for it.
(because the concept was so good and the music is so good but the execution did NOT stick the landing for me.)
