    Summary

The vampire's hand slipped around Legundo's waist and up to hold his chest, keeping him steady, the other held the doctor's shoulder. His lukewarm tongue pressed gently against where the vein was, before a cold pinprick in his skin.

As the pain trickled into his neck from sharp teeth, Legundo did his best to relax. Gently leaning into the man behind him, he inhaled a shaky breath, eyes furrowed and focused on the ground ahead of him. And Owen drank deep, humming against Legundo ever so gently. Hums that spread heat through the surgeon's neck, an ache blossoming in his chest.

    Summary

He grabbed his latest remedy attempts, slotting them into his belt, and making his way from the cave. Stones rolled against the doorway to hide his bunker, Legs pulled his pickaxe over his shoulder and sighed. Trudging his way out of the cave.

Seems he couldn't go anywhere without said surprise visitor.

Just as he stepped from the cave into the forest, he heard it. An ominous chuckle, no doubt belonging to the only vampire it could. He scanned the trees, no sign of Owen, so he must be a bat. Hiding from him.

"Oakhurst tells me you've been turned." There was a certain glee that rolled off his tongue, sending shivers down the doctor's spine.

    Summary

Owen opened his eyes to find himself standing in the forest. He languidly looked down to see himself in white bedclothes. His brain…felt foggy. He reached for memories of how he had gotten in the middle of nowhere, but his memory failed him.

There was only one person who could figure out the solution to his odd problem.

    Louis.

There was nothing he could do but walk forward and look for him.

After a battle with some of the townsfolk, Owen is hit with a half-botched cure for his vampirism. Consequently, he mentally reverts back to the time when he was a human, before everything went wrong.

The doctor's trying to help, but Owen is a difficult patient, and it doesn't help that he's seeing things.

    Summary

But in the morning, all of the thoughts from the night before were gone. All of the stars and the inky black were gone, and all that was left was Scar's huge hands gripping him close and his leg between Scar's thighs and his nose pressed into Scar's shoulder. All of him surrounded by all of that, and the unfortunate feeling that he'd never been so fucking close to something he wanted while also nowhere near it.

The grip on him was tight, and Grian whispered, "Let me go."

    Summary

Watson wagers that Holmes can't solve the mystery of a woman plagued by a vampyre's curse.

“...and if I fail to solve it?” Holmes kept his eyes fixed on the woman. She was becoming hysterical, thrusting a coin purse towards the shopkeep and grasping for the amulet.

I considered for a moment. What would I want from Sherlock Holmes? In truth, there was very little I wouldn’t want from the Detective.

‘Why not?’ I thought to myself. I leaned close, my lips inches from his ear. I was near enough to smell the tobacco that clung to his clothes.

“If you fail,” I breathed, “you shall owe me a kiss.”
